Trippus listed on Technology Fast 500 EMEA!

For 2015 Trippus is listed on the Technology Fast 500 EMEA List, consultancy company Deloitte’s annual ranking of the fastest growing technology companies in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Deloitte describes the Fast 500 list as an objective industry-ranking to focus on the technology field, recognizing technology companies that have achieved the fastest rates of revenue growth in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) during the last four years. Combining technological innovation, entrepreneurship and rapid growth, Fast 500 companies – large, small, public and private – span a variety of industry sectors, and are leaders in hardware, software, communications, media, life sciences and clean technology.

Trippus is since earlier listed on Deloitte’s Sweden Technology Fast 50, listing the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Sweden. For three consecutive years (2013-2015) Trippus has been awarded the Gazelle Award by the leading Swedish business newspaper Dagens Industri.

Trippus to go global!

Trippus is well-established in Sweden, Norway and Denmark since several years. Now the company takes a big leap towards the markets outside Scandinavia through a co-operation with SoolNua, managed by meeetings industry authorities Patrick Delaney and Padraic Gilligan.

“SoolNua to help Trippus go global”

Trippus, the Swedish based on-line registration system for events, has established a partnership with global Meetings & Events Consultancy, SoolNua to take its suite of on-line meeting and event solutions global. Under the terms of the partnership SoolNua will help Trippus to formulate and refine its strategy for global market entry while utilising Ireland for pilot testing and market research.

“Trippus has been growing organically in the Nordic countries over the past 10 years helping conference, meeting and event organisers do their jobs better, faster and cheaper. We have now developed a full suite of on-line products for meetings and events which we licence as both partial and holistic solutions. Trippus at the Meetings Show in London

Trippus will take part in the Meetings Show 2015 that takes place at Olympia in London on 7-9 July. This trade show that was held for the first time in 2013 has quickly become acknowledged as one of the most important meeting spots for meeting industry professionals alongside well-established IMEX and IBTM World.

Trippus CEO Martin Klöfver will lead a session on how to get started with meetings technology on Tuesday 7 July at 12:15 and will also take part in a panel presenting new technology innovations for the meeting industry at 14:50 on the same day.

Trippus CEO Martin Klöfver speaking at International Confex 2015

On 19 February 2015 Trippus CEO Martin Klöfver will be a part of a panel discussing mobile technology for meetings. This takes place at the International Confex at Olympia, London. The title of the panel discussion is “Don’t fight, incorporate it – including mobile technology in your event programme” and it’s held in the Technology Theatre at 2.15pm.

Trippus CEO Martin Klöfver speaker during EIBTM 2014

Trippus will be represented at EIBTM in Barcelona 18th-20th November 2014. EIBTM is since many years back one of the most important exhibitions in the meetings industry in Europe, and Trippus has had a team on site for the past ten years to meet with clients and partners, and to catch up with the latest trends in the industry.

Trippus will take part in the Meetings Show UK that takes place at Olympia in London on 8-10 July. This fair that was held for the first time in 2013 has quickly become acknowledged as one of the most important meeting places for meeting industry professionals alongside well-established IMEX and EIBTM.

Trippus CEO Martin Klöfver will lead a session on smartphone technology for meetings on Wednesday 9 July at 12:15-12:45 and will also take part in a panel discussing technology for the meeting industry in general.

New function: Table Seating

Trippus launches a new function for table seating. This will make life a lot easier for organizers of dinners. Manual drag-and-drop seat assignment, automatic distribution of seats, smart distribution of seat and table number to participants’ mobile phones – there are many functions!

Trippus new admin

Thursday morning, Dec. 28th, we will release the next step of Trippus new admin. The update revamps the way Trippus administrators work with activities. Our work with the new admin will of course keep on going and more updates will be released in the future.

Trippus are investing a lot of time in making the new admin more useful and effective to work with for our clients. The workflow is more natural and also more consistent with the Trippus administrator’s actual working processes. The participant categories are elevated to a more central role where they are pointed out more clearly. Additionally, important information is displayed more clearly immediately after logging in. On Thursday, this will be expanded to also include activities. Created activities can simply be connected to a category by dragging it from a list of available activities to the category.  In the same way, administrators can now sort connected activities by dragging and dropping them.

In the new admin, tabs and clickable icons will be used in a bigger extent than before. Functions and settings are collected in logical groups, which gives us more intuitive and perspicuous views. General settings are often presented together, while more advanced settings are under additional tabs, which creates a bigger clarity and makes it easier to set up new activities.

The new admin is built on modern and well-tried frameworks, making our drag-and-drop functionality effective. The new admin is also optimized for the latest versions of the most common web browsers. For older versions of web browsers, such as Internet Explorer 8, there are some limits that can affect the user’s experience of the new admin. We always recommend Trippus administrators to keep their web browsers up to date, preferably using the latest versions.

Please note, that the new admin doesn’t have any impact on the participants who registers to your events. The new admin only comprises the interface that the Trippus administrators are using. As a side note, we have kept all the existing admin functionality intact, i.e. all the functions that you are used to work with since earlier will work in the same way as they have done before, until further notice.

Anyone who wants to is warmly welcomed to an open briefing of the new admin at the office of Trippus in Uppsala. There are two occasions to participate in the open briefing. We will start at 10 a.m., both December 3rd and 4th. This is free of charge, and we will serve some Christmas-like pastry and coffee.
