Uppsala City's popular event "Uppsala Fashion Show" is a wonderful fashion show in the heart of Uppsala. Autumn's trends were welcomed by hundreds of Uppsala residents who got to take part in this unique experience in the heart of the students' city. Uppsala City organized the Uppsala Fashion Weekend for the first time in collaboration with Trippus. Between the dates 22-25 September, those interested in fashion could take part in live broadcasts and physical activities during the Uppsala Fashion Weekend. With a packed program of fashion shows, competitions, live broadcasts, inspiration offers and happenings, the participants were kept engaged during the days. Among the participating stores were well-known brands such as H&M, Lindex and Åhléns.
The main event on the schedule was the actual fashion show in the Central Garage, which attracted hundreds of excited attendees. At fashion shows, seating and/or standing is usually offered, which was also the case for Uppsala City. The organizer wanted two prices, one pricing for standing and another for sitting. With Trippus, they could easily create individual prices that participants chose from when they booked via the online registration form.
In order for the organizer to be able to collect and manage notifications, a registration form was set up in connection with the event. Here, participants could fill in their information and pay in line with the selected ticket type. After booking, a personal event app was sent out to the participants via SMS and an invitation with complete information about the event by email. At the fashion show, electronic check-in was used where each participant's ticket is read to ensure that their ticket was valid. It is important to follow up on your events and measure KPIs, which Uppsala City chose to do by sending out customized questionnaires.
