World Water Week

About the event

World Water Week, also known as the world's foremost global conference for water issues, is organized annually in Stockholm. Over five eventful days, World Water Week 2023 brought together world-leading experts, decision-makers and enthusiasts to explore solutions to today's and tomorrow's water challenges. Organized by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) in collaboration with Trippus, the event offered a unique platform for global dialogue on water issues.

Undertaking an event as large as World Water Week requires an experienced and extensive workforce as well as a powerful solution. With over 15,000 participants both digitally and on site, different options are required to ensure a good experience for everyone. We created a complete and user-friendly digital platform with selectable sessions and filtering options from within the program.

As World Water Week spans several days, it can be tricky to stick to just one type of ticket. In this case, upwards of 30 different tickets were offered, with everything from multi-day passes to student prices and for partners.

Trippus involvement

Since day 1, Trippus has taken on the responsibility of once again handling that event management for World Water Week. All departments at Trippus have contributed during various stages of the process, including the creation of new solutions, project management, support and much more. The services that Trippus provided included:

• The invitation and registration where participants could easily register for the event and choose from the various ticket types that suited each participant best.
• Payment directly in connection with the purchase of tickets in either the form of an invoice or card payment.
• The event website was complete with a comprehensive and filterable program that made the easy way to find what was searched for.
• Event app with all the information that participants, speakers and organizers needed to have access to, including their personal tickets, their program and directions.
• Tickets, name tags and check-in where participants were met by our knowledgeable staff at the entrance to check in, scan their tickets and receive a nice name tag.
• Live broadcast several seminars held in parallel with speakers, chat and much more.
• Lead management that exhibitors had access to to gather hot leads on the show floor.
• Table placement and grouping that the participants easily found in their respective event apps.
• Surveys and follow-up where the organizer got to share more insight from the participants' experience, both digitally and on site.
• Real-time statistics and reports from customized reports including participant statistics, attendance registration and data from all live broadcasts.
